Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) is seeking a part-time Guest Services Event Staff member to support the guest experience at arena events. You will usher, scan tickets, assist with concourse customer service, and greet guests, creating a world-class atmosphere while keeping fans safe and informed.

This role pays an hourly rate of $12.00 - $15.00 and offers a 401(k) savings plan with matching. Availability on weekends and evenings is required, with the position open through December 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality or entertainment environment is preferred.
• Must love working with and helping people.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Flexibility to work youth baseball, trade shows, concerts, indoors and outdoors.
• Flexible schedule: Weekend and evening availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare your assigned section for guests; this could include wiping down seats, looking for potential hazards, reporting any issues to a supervisor.
• When gates open, welcome our fans with a great smile and helpful attitude.
• Scan event tickets, ensuring that the proper ticket is being used to gain entry.
• Assist fans in locating their ticketed seats.
• Being alert and proactive to potential hazards and reporting incidents when they occur.
• Monitor your assigned area for issues and opportunities to make lasting memories for our fans.
• Respond to all guest concerns/complaints promptly and in a professional manner.
• Assist guests in ADA-accessible seating sections.
• Follow all building policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
• Manage the foot traffic flow of large crowds.
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Be knowledgeable about the arena emergency evacuation plan in order to safely assist guests during the unlikely event of an emergency.
