Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This role collaborates with operational leadership, Finance, HR, and vendors to ensure accurate financial information and GAAP compliance. The position involves month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR, budgeting support, and internal controls while guiding accounting staff toward efficiency and fiscal accountability.

This role pays an annual salary of $75,000 - $85,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting, and analysis.
• Experience leading and developing accounting personnel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, cash management, GL, and reporting.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and analyses.
• Identify variances and communicate findings to leadership.
• Ensure accurate recording of revenue, expenses, cash, and related activity.
• Oversee AP and AR processes including invoicing, coding, approvals, and payments.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting procedures; ensure GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and other providers.
• Assist with audits and provide requested financial documentation.
• Manage fixed asset records and CAPEX tracking.
• Support payroll accounting and reconciliation processes as needed.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues timely.
