Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Auction Support Specialist I to work on-site at a local Cox Automotive location. You will help keep auction operations accurate by tracking bids, verifying vehicle and customer information, and processing real-time transactions.

You should be detail-oriented and able to work under pressure where timing matters, with experience in auctions or the automotive industry preferred. High school diploma required and on-site work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Previous block clerk experience preferred.
• Auction experience preferred.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter lane and Simulcast bid data, customer data, sold units, and sale lights in AS400.
• Work with the auctioneer remotely to verify vehicle and sale details.
• Check run orders to ensure correct vehicles are processed and sold.
• Monitor Simulcast activity and relay live updates to the auctioneer.
• Provide arbitration notes and key vehicle announcements to support sales.
• Follow up on late titles by phone and email.
• Assist title-absent processing using Salesforce.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
