Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a legal services assistant or other legal support position.
• Experience supporting Litigation Attorneys.
• Excellent clerical skills including grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of administrative practice for the litigation group.
• E-file in federal and state courts and adhere to local or judge-specific requirements.
• Prepare and process outgoing correspondence via email or mail; arrange for courier services when required.
• Monitor, organize and prioritize ongoing client projects.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical files.
• Schedule meetings, appointments and related activities for multiple assignments.
• Docket deadlines and court dates; familiarity with Milana is a plus.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and other legal document shells.
• Coordinate travel and conferences and manage IT/facilities setups as needed.
• Proofread documents for formatting, grammar and accuracy.
