The Oregon Department of Justice, Child Advocacy and Protection Division (CAPD) in the Portland Legal Office is seeking a seasoned Litigation Support Specialist. This position supports Assistant Attorneys General and a mission to protect vulnerable children, with a hybrid work schedule after onboarding, including up to one remote day as operations allow.

You will manage electronic and physical filing, review docket information, handle document formatting, and coordinate with clients and agency

Formación

• Experience or training in general office occupations.
• Notary Public appointment or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Process shared email folders containing discovery, court reports, and hearing information into electronic case management systems.
• Review docket reports and calendar related hearings.
• Open, close, and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
• Contact clients, agency staff, other agencies, or the public to obtain necessary case information.
• Read, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
• Create, format, and proofread documents.
• Respond to requests for general information and provide explanations to visitors and clients.
• Maintain state cars.
• Order, distribute, and maintain inventory office supplies.
