The Oregon Department of Justice, Child Advocacy and Protection Division in Portland is seeking a seasoned Litigation Support Specialist to support senior attorneys in daily litigation tasks. The role offers a hybrid schedule after onboarding, with up to one remote day based on agency needs and workload.

Responsibilities include handling case data, managing filing systems, contacting clients, drafting documents, and ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of experience and college coursework or training in a general office occupation.
• Notary Public in Oregon or able to become within 6 months of appointment.
• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Professional demeanor with ability to manage interruptions and deadlines.
• Strong data entry and computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Process shared email folders into electronic case management systems.
• Review docket reports and calendar related hearings.
• Open, close, and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
• Contact clients, agency staff, other agencies, or the public to obtain case information.
• Read, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
• Create, format, and proofread documents.
• Respond to requests for general information and explanations to visitors.
• Maintain state cars and manage inventory supplies.
