Qualifications

• Law degree and thorough knowledge of litigation, claims-litigation precedents, insurance law, and policy terms.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage claims litigation activities and case strategy for designated Shelter states.
• Direct and supervise claims-handling activities and coordinate with outside attorneys for high-exposure branch claims.
• Counsels other Shelter departments on various claims, coverage, and legal issues.
• Direct and prepare training for schools, eLearning, and Branches.
