• Draft, proofread, and manage legal documents, correspondence, discovery responses, and court filings.
• Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, coordinate records, and support trial preparation.

A growing Florida law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its West Palm Beach office in a direct hire role. Key Responsibilities

• Review, organize, and summarize medical records, medical bills, pleadings, discovery, and case documents.
• Prepare detailed medical chronologies and case summaries to support litigation strategy.
• Assist attorneys with civil litigation matters, including insurance defense, bodily injury, and general liability cases.
• Draft, proofread, and manage legal documents, correspondence, discovery responses, and court filings.
• Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, coordinate records, and support trial preparation activities.
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, experts, medical providers, and court personnel.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per year.
• Employment Type: Direct Hire.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Work Arrangement: 100% in-office initially. Hybrid may be considered after a 90-day training period based on performance and business needs. Hybrid is not guaranteed.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Support civil litigation matters from case intake through discovery, case preparation, and trial support.
• Review and summarize medical records, medical bills, and case materials.
• Prepare medical chronologies, discovery documents, correspondence, and litigation support materials.
• Manage deadlines, organize case files, and coordinate attorney support in a fast-paced legal environment.
• 3+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience required.
• Strong working knowledge of litigation procedures, deadlines, discovery, and legal document preparation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and legal team members.
• Professional judgment, confidentiality, and strong follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior insurance defense litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with bodily injury and general liability litigation preferred.
• Strong understanding of Florida court procedures preferred.
• Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and medical bills highly preferred.
• Basic medical knowledge is a plus.
