LHH is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our Commercial and Business Litigation team in Tampa. This full-time, in-person role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting litigation attorneys, managing cases, and coordinating complex legal matters.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, motions, and trial support
- Draft, proofread, and organize pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents
- Maintain and update case files, calendars, and deadlines
- Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel as needed
- Conduct legal research and summarize case law, deposition transcripts, and exhibits
- Provide general administrative support to litigation attorneys
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial or business litigation
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, rules, and terminology
- Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
