Overview
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team and support attorneys handling complex commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role, with a combination of in-office and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive paralegal support in complex commercial litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
- Manage large-scale discovery, including document review, production, and e-discovery coordination
- Assist with deposition, hearing, mediation, and trial preparation (exhibits, witness binders, chronologies)
- Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines; ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
- Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors
- Perform legal research and factual investigation as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal handling complex commercial litigation matters
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures
- Experience with e-filing systems and litigation support software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines
- Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred
- Hybrid position (Miami/Fort Lauderdale area candidates only)
