Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions partners with a respected law firm to identify an experienced Defense Litigation Paralegal to support a busy civil litigation practice. This role offers exposure to complex case files, trial preparation, and collaboration with attorneys throughout litigation matters.

The position is hybrid in Milwaukee, WI, with a compensation range of $75,000 to $105,000 and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation or defense litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience with insurance defense litigation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of discovery, litigation procedures, and trial preparation.
• Experience reviewing medical records and preparing chronologies is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal technology platforms.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft and prepare discovery requests and responses
• Review, organize, and summarize medical records
• Prepare medical chronologies and deposition summaries
• Assist with subpoena preparation and document productions
• Track case deadlines and maintain litigation calendars
• Support attorneys with trial, arbitration, and mediation preparation
• Prepare exhibit lists, witness lists, trial notebooks, and presentation materials
• Conduct factual investigations and legal research
• Maintain accurate billing records and time entries

LHH is partnering with a respected law firm to identify an experienced Defense Litigation Paralegal to support a busy civil litigation practice. Location

Compensation: $75,000 - $105,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
