Job summary

CVS Health in United States (Kansas) is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the Litigation Team. The role requires professionalism, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills to support paralegal and administrative tasks for the Healthcare Business.

The position involves handling litigation intake, subpoenas, NSA Act matter support, discovery coordination, travel arrangements, expense processing, and reporting. Eligible for comprehensive benefits with a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

2+ years of legal support experience with subpoena processing and small claims litigation.
2+ years of research experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain the litigation matter intake process in the Legal Tracker system.
Independently manage subpoenas and requests for records from state/government agencies.
Support in-house attorneys for NSA Act cases and other proceedings.
Coordinate the discovery process, issue legal holds, and track deadlines.
Coordinate limited travel, process expense reimbursements, and manage check requests.
Prepare and distribute litigation matter reports for case management.
Lead or contribute to special legal projects as needed.
