Job description

AmLaw 200 law firm in Naples, FL is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' of commercial litigation experience. Salary can pay in the $50K - $80K range.

Key Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in connection with all aspects of case management and document production, heavy document editing, proofreading and finalizing legal documents in Microsoft Word.
• E-filing in state, federal and appellate courts.
• Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings and conferences, enter billable time and process expense reports.
• Update electronic records, upload documents, and run reports.
• Possess strong skills using all of Microsoft’s Office tools.
• Maintain and organize case files, organize paper and electronic documents for use in depositions or trials.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of legal experience.
• Commercial Litigation experience preferred.
• Exceptional technical skills required including knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook, Adobe Professional, iManage, Legal Tracker and electronic document management.
• Ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication and client service skills.
• Ability to switch gears and self-manage multiple, competing expectations with little to no supervision.
• Must be a team player with strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
• Must be detailed-oriented.
• Excellent grammar and spelling skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are essential.
• Position requires in-office presence, 5 days per week. This is not a remote work position.
