About the Opportunity

A well-established and highly respected Florida law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal / Special Projects Paralegal to join its Naples office.

The firm has a long-standing reputation for providing exceptional legal representation and is expanding its practice beyond personal injury into a broader range of complex legal matters. This position offers an opportunity to work directly with senior firm leadership and attorneys on challenging civil litigation, real estate, and special matters.

The ideal candidate is an experienced, highly organized, proactive paralegal who can take ownership of multiple matters, anticipate needs, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, prepare, proofread, and review litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, notices, correspondence, and other legal filings.
• Assist attorneys throughout all stages of civil litigation.
• Maintain organized and accurate case files, evidence, correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and other case-related materials.
• Assist with complex real estate matters, including real estate disputes, foreclosures, title matters, and related litigation.
• Support probate-related matters and other specialized legal projects as needed.
• Conduct legal research and assist with preparation of research memoranda and other materials supporting litigation strategy.
• Coordinate hearings, depositions, meetings, trial preparation, and other litigation events.
• Track critical deadlines and proactively communicate upcoming obligations.
• Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.
• Provide proactive case updates and identify potential issues before they become problems.
• Assist with client communication and help ensure matters progress efficiently.
• Provide executive administrative support to firm leadership as needed, including calendar management, meeting coordination, reminders, and follow-up.
• Utilize legal technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of work.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience required; 8+ years strongly preferred.
• Strong background in civil litigation.
• Experience with real estate litigation or real estate-related legal matters is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, pleadings, discovery, deadlines, and case management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently while also responding well to direction and constructive feedback.
• Strong professional judgment and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
• Experience with Filevine or similar legal case-management software preferred.
• Familiarity with legal AI tools such as Spellbook, vLex Vincent AI, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard legal technology.
