You will manage LED workflow calendaring in CompuLaw for federal and state matters, review deadlines, mentor junior LED staff, and perform complex calendaring tasks with discretion and a high level of client service.
Salary: USD45 - USD55 per hour
Beacon Hill's client, an Am Law 50 firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Docketing Specialist to provide leave coverage support for its Litigation Department. They are looking for someone who can start within the next couple of weeks and are moving quickly through the hiring process, with the goal of selecting a candidate by the beginning of next week.
The Litigation Event Docketing Specialist (“LED Specialist”) is called upon to be a fully engaged participant in the firm’s LED workflow queue. In that role, the LED Specialist is responsible for executing both basic and complex calendaring workflow requests generated through the Litigation Department’s CompuLaw Litigation Event Docketing system (“LED”) for federal and state court matters. In addition, the LED Specialist takes lead responsibility on administrative tasks as needed; serves as a mentor and informational resource for junior LED Staff; and executes more complex and substantive calendaring requests.

Duration:6-8-week leave coverage assignment, with potential for direct hire based on business needs
Hours:40 hours per week
Schedule:Monday-Friday, approximately 8 AM to 5:00PM, with some flexibility
Pay:$45-$55/hour based on experience

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a litigation calendaring position using the Aderant Vision/CompuLaw calendaring software
Extensive knowledge of state and federal court rules and structures
Excellent legal research and analytical skills
Superior organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multitask with changing priorities to meet strict deadlines
The ability to respect, protect, and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
Superior client service and litigation support skills
The ability to work independently, take initiative, and be proactive
Ability to juggle workflow demands while advancing goals on projects and initiatives
Possess professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and the ability to work cohesively and constructively with all levels of firm personnel
Knowledge and experience with litigation docketing/calendaring systems such as CompuLaw
Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Flexibility to work overtime and outside regular business hours as needed
