Job summary

GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group is seeking a budding marketing/business development professional to support the Head of Business Development with market research, communications, and coordination on litigation-focused initiatives. This role offers exposure to legal and professional services environments and room to grow within the firm.

The position emphasizes research, drafting, event support, and cross-functional collaboration with senior BD and marketing staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years of relevant marketing, business development, or market research experience.
• Experience with market research, media monitoring, or business intelligence tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research on litigation matters, law firms, attorneys, and prospective client companies to support business development efforts.
• Help monitor litigation news, dockets, and legal industry developments, flagging items relevant to the firm's practice areas.
• Research publicly available court filings and case information as directed by senior team members.
• Compile research findings into clear, organized summaries for review by senior BD and marketing staff.
• Draft and proofread emails, presentation materials, and research summaries; support the creation of pitch materials under guidance.
• Help prepare briefing materials and background research for attorney, client, and prospect meetings.
• Support event logistics for conferences, sponsorships, and client events, along with marketing and website initiatives.
• Coordinate meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reporting as needed.
• Collaborate with senior professionals across the firm on business development projects.
