Job summary

Friedman Williams is seeking a Manager of Business Development to lead litigation BD initiatives and coordinate marketing efforts across the firm. The role requires partnering with practice groups, lawyers, and the marketing department to drive firm-wide initiatives and raise the profile of the practice.

Responsibilities include developing plans, managing the BD pipeline, producing client-facing materials, and coordinating with media and proposals teams to win new business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD/MBA may substitute for experience.
• Minimum of five years in a related role, preferably in a law firm or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop and implement litigation BD plans with practice group leadership.
• Lead directory submissions and collateral updating for litigation experience.
• Collaborate with lawyers to execute BD activities using the firm’s marketing network.
• Prepare RFP responses, proposals and client presentations with the Pitch & Proposal team.
• Manage the BD process and pipeline for the practice area.
• Coordinate with attorneys to understand client needs and legal solutions.
