Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active state bar admission.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Proven courtroom experience including hearings and depositions.
• Strong legal research and written advocacy skills.
• Excellent negotiation and client-focused communication.
• Ability to manage a busy docket and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with litigation management software and e-discovery.

Responsibilities

• Manage a docket of premises liability, general liability, and insurance defense matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and court filings.
• Handle discovery, including depositions.
• Appear at conferences, mediations, and trials.
• Coordinate with clients, carriers, and experts to develop strategy.
• Train junior staff and support business development.
• Maintain case progress and billing records.
