Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Illinois.
• At least one year of experience handling commercial or complex civil litigation.
• Strong research, writing, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Manage commercial litigation and complex civil matters through various stages of the litigation process.
• Research legal issues and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses.
• Communicate with clients regarding case developments and strategy.
• Participate in fact and expert depositions, including preparing witnesses.
• Appear in court for hearings, motions, and other proceedings.
• Assist with trial preparation and settlement negotiations.
• Work with other attorneys to develop case strategies and manage deadlines.
