Jobot is seeking a Litigation Associate in the western Chicago suburbs to handle complex civil and commercial disputes. You will work closely with senior attorneys, participate in depositions, and have opportunities to advance toward partnership.

A strong background in research, writing, and client communication is essential. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 per year with no billable hour requirement and an elevated bonus structure.

Qualifications

• JD required or equivalent from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Illinois required.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in commercial or complex civil litigation is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage commercial litigation and complex civil matters through all stages of litigation.
• Research legal issues and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
• Communicate with clients about case developments and strategy.
• Participate in depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation.
• Develop case strategies with attorneys and manage deadlines and files.
