• 3-5 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and other substantive filings.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Experience managing discovery and conducting legal research.
• Deposition and trial preparation experience preferred.
• Commercial and/or tort litigation experience preferred.
• Licensed and in good standing in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of litigation matters through all phases of a case.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
• Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy development.
• Manage discovery, including written discovery and document production.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Assist with trial preparation and case management.
• Work closely with partners and clients on sophisticated disputes.
