Job summary

ASML US, LLC in Austin, Texas, seeks an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer to lead on-site installation, relocation, and upgrades of advanced lithography systems at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, ensure safety, and deliver projects on time.

You will work with customers and cross-functional teams, document work, and support continuous improvements while building strong partnerships. The role requires 80% travel within the United States and occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 2 years of practical experience.
• 1+ year in field service, semiconductor manufacturing, equipment installation or similar.
• 1+ year assembling, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electromechanical equipment.
• 1+ year using data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and technical reporting applications.
• 1+ year reading technical documentation, engineering drawings, procedures, and specifications.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, vacuum systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, or related tech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, upgrade, and qualify lithography systems and subsystems in cleanroom environments.
• Execute system upgrades and recovery activities per procedures and specs.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues for top performance.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to address technical challenges.
• Analyze system performance and verify compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Complete technical documentation, service reports, and project handovers on time.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and guide junior team members when appropriate.
