Job summary

ASML is seeking an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer to install, relocate, upgrade, and optimize lithography systems at customer sites. Based in Austin, TX with extensive travel, you will collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to ensure safe, on‑time deployments.

You will document technical work, support continuous improvement, and mentor junior engineers while upholding safety and quality standards. The role demands strong problem solving and hands‑on execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or two years of practical experience in a technical field.
• At least one year of field service, semiconductor manufacturing, equipment installation, or similar technical environment.
• Minimum one year experience assembling, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electromechanical equipment.
• Minimum one year experience reading technical documentation, engineering drawings, procedures, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, upgrade, and qualify lithography systems and subsystems in cleanroom environments.
• Execute system upgrades, modifications, and recovery activities per procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system‑level issues for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to address technical challenges.
• Analyze system performance and verify compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Complete technical documentation, service reports, and project handovers accurately.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
