Job summary

ASML US, LLC in Austin, Texas, seeks an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer to lead on-site installation, relocation, and upgrades of complex lithography systems at customer sites.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure safe, high-quality deployments, perform diagnostics, and optimize system performance while documenting activities and driving continuous improvement. This role requires travel up to 80% across the United States.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics or related field, or two years of practical experience.
  • Minimum one year field service or related technical experience.
  • Experience assembling, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electromechanical equipment.
  • Experience reading technical documentation and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Install, relocate, de-install, assemble, and qualify lithography systems and subsystems in cleanroom environments.
  • Execute system upgrades, modifications, and recovery activities.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues.
  • Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Analyze system performance and verify compliance with engineering, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Complete technical documentation, service reports, work orders, and project handovers accurately and on time.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
