GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to monitor, sustain, and improve equipment in our 300mm Fab8. You will work with production teams, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and use mechanical, electronic, and PC skills to troubleshoot issues.

Clear updates to leads and engineers are essential. The role requires ability to lift 50 pounds, work in cleanroom environments, and adapt to rotating day/night 12-hour shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical work.
• 2-year technical degree or 2 years military experience or 4 years related experience.
• English language fluency (written & verbal).

Aufgaben

• Follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor equipment and communicate status to leads/engineers.
• Work in a 24/7 FAB8 cleanroom environment.
• Lift 50+ pounds and wear required PPE.
