Job summary

ASML Germany GmbH is seeking an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer to lead installation, relocation, and upgrade of advanced lithography equipment at customer sites. You will work with customers and internal teams to ensure safe, high-quality deployments and on-time handovers.

The role requires 1+ year in field service or related tech environments, strong problem-solving, and willingness to travel up to 80% within the United States with occasional international trips.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics, physics, electronics or related field, or two years of practical experience.
• Minimum one year in field service, semiconductor manufacturing, equipment installation or similar technical environment.
• Minimum one year assembling, installing, troubleshooting and repairing complex electromechanical equipment.
• Minimum one year experience with data analysis tools and technical reporting.
• Minimum one year experience reading technical documentation and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, upgrade and optimize lithography equipment and subsystems in cleanroom environments.
• Execute system upgrades and recoveries per procedures and specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and system-level issues.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to address technical challenges.
• Analyze system performance and verify safety, quality, and engineering requirements.
• Complete technical reports, service reports and handovers accurately and on time.
• Support continuous improvement and mentor less experienced team members.
