Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a dependable Press Operator to join a stable production team in Rockford, IL. The role operates lithographic decorating equipment, ensures print quality, and supports changeovers on a can decorating line.

It is a full-time night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a rotating weekly schedule, with overtime after 40 hours and double time after 48 hours. OSHA compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with teammates, production staff, and management.

Responsibilities

• Operate lithographic decorating equipment safely to maximize output.
• Change plates, inks, and materials for production changeovers.
• Monitor print quality and identify material-related issues.
• Document material issues and work toward timely resolution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of production supplies.
• Foster strong working relationships with teammates and management.
