Vancrest of Urbana, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full‑time day and night shifts. The role involves implementing care plans, delivering direct nursing care, assisting with assessments, and coordinating with the nursing team to ensure resident well‑being.

The position offers competitive wages ($30–$40/hour, with a $2 differential for 3rd shift) and a $1500 sign‑on bonus. An RN license is required and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implement resident care plans.
• Perform direct nursing services including treatments and assessments.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Delegate components of care to nursing assistants and provide supervision.
• Record pertinent information in patient records and validate data.
• Communicate residents' care needs to the care team.
• Support professional growth and development of staff.
• Carry out duties as assigned by the director of nursing.

We are currently looking for:

FT 1st (6am-6pm)

FT 3rd (6pm-6am)

3 days a week, includes every other weekend

Starting wages range between $30-$40 depending on experience with final rates determined by the hiring manager at an interview.

Additional $2 differential for 3rd shift

$1500 SIGN-ON BONUS

Registered Nurse (RN) Nursing Responsibilities include

• Implementing a resident care plan
• Performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations
• Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• delegating suitable components of the care plan to the nursing assistants, provides guidance and supervision when necessary
• consulting with and validating data
• record pertinent information in the patient record
• identifying and evaluating the resident's response to health problems and treatments
• communicating residents care needs to others involved in the care
• assuming responsibility for professional growth and development
• other duties as assigned by the director of nursing.
• Working leader- oversees and implements a resident plan of care
• Working leader- performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessment and evaluations
• Consulting with and validates data
• Recording pertinent information in the patient record
• Identifying and evaluating the resident's response to health problems and treatments
• Communicating residents care needs to others involved in the care
• Assuming responsibility for professional growth and development
