Job summary

Vancrest of Urbana, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive facility. You will implement care plans, perform nursing services, assist with assessments, and collaborate with the health team to ensure quality outcomes.

Light-to-moderate sign-on bonus of 5,000 is offered for 3rd shift FT. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and PTO; weekend rotation required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Must be able to work every other weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Implement resident care plans and perform direct nursing services.
• Assist with assessments, treatments, and evaluating health status.
• Supervise nursing assistants, delegate care, and validate data.
• Record pertinent information in patient records and communicate needs.

Registered Nurse (RN) Nursing Responsibilities include

• Implementing a resident care plan
• Performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations
• Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• delegating suitable components of the care plan to the nursing assistants, provides guidance and supervision when necessary
• consulting with and validating data
• record pertinent information in the patient record
• identifying and evaluating the resident's response to health problems and treatments
• communicating residents care needs to others involved in the care
• assuming responsibility for professional growth and development
• other duties as assigned by the director of nursing.
• Working leader- oversees and implements a resident plan of care
• Working leader- performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessment and evaluations
• Consulting with and validates data
• Recording pertinent information in the patient record
• Identifying and evaluating the resident's response to health problems and treatments
• Communicating residents care needs to others involved in the care
• Assuming responsibility for professional growth and development

Requirements of RN:
