Job summary

State of New Hampshire, Liquor Commission, Enforcement and Licensing Division, invites applications for a Liquor Investigator I in Concord. Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from a recognized college, university or technical institute with a major study preferably in criminal justice or the equivalent.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent followed by relevant three years of full-time experience (police officer/corrections/military) or a combination totaling three years.

Responsibilities

  • Enforces liquor and beverage laws on premises where sold, stored, distributed, or manufactured.
  • Conducts administrative investigations and ensures licensee compliance through inspections and operations.
  • Investigates criminal activity related to licensed establishments for criminal and administrative prosecution.
  • Interviews complainants and witnesses; interrogates suspects to obtain evidence or admissions.
  • Educates and develops training programs for liquor licensees and other agencies.
