Job summary

Pacific Villas Post Acute is seeking a dedicated laundry/housekeeping aide to support resident comfort and facility cleanliness. You will sort, wash, dry, fold linens, deliver to rooms, and maintain linen inventory while following sanitary procedures.

GED or HS diploma preferred; 1 year experience; reading directions and basic math required; lift up to 50 pounds; no certifications required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs general laundry and housekeeping duties to provide quality laundry service and to maintain the nursing home in a sanitary manner.
• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents' care and comfort.
• Sort, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens; deliver clean items to resident rooms.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove items with holes or stains from service.
• Label new resident's clothing items as needed; collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
