Job summary

The PACS Group seeks a reliable laundry attendant to maintain clean linen for residents. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and label clothing and linens, and deliver items to resident rooms while following sanitary procedures.

Requirements include GED or high school diploma, the ability to read directions, basic math, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior laundry experience is preferred but not required; no certifications are needed.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents and maintain it in good repair.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new residents’ clothing items as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.
