Job summary

Beverly Hills Rehabilitation Centre, LLC is seeking a Laundry Aide to maintain linen supply and support resident comfort in our facility.

You will sort, wash, dry and fold linens, deliver to rooms, and ensure sanitary laundry procedures while reporting equipment issues. This role requires a GED or HS diploma and about 1 year of experience; no certifications required, and lifting up to 50 pounds may be necessary.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is preferred; 1 year of experience in laundry/housekeeping is advantageous.
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents.
• Maintain linen in good repair; remove holes or stains.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident’s clothing items as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and procedures for laundry duties.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Use all laundry equipment and supplies in a safe manner.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.
