Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available at all times to support resident care and comfort.
• Maintain linens in good condition; remove from service any items with holes, stains, or excessive wear.
• Collect resident laundry daily or as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens according to established procedures.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms in a timely manner.
• Follow all sanitary processes and infection control procedures related to laundry services.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify leadership when replenishment is needed.
• Operate all laundry equipment and supplies safely and properly.
• Report laundry equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the Administrator.
