Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a dedicated Laundry/Linen Aide to support nursing home residents by ensuring clean, well-maintained linens and garments. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, label items, and deliver them to resident rooms while following sanitary procedures.

The role requires GED or HS diploma, up to 1 year of experience preferred, basic math, ability to read instructions, and safe operation of laundry equipment.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions for laundry/housekeeping.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.
• No certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for proper care and comfort of all residents.
• Maintain all linen in good repair and remove from service any linen with holes or stains.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident’s clothing items as needed.
• Sorting, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Use all laundry equipment and supplies in a safe manner and report equipment issues.
