Job summary

Adventure Tours in Accokeek, MD seeks a Line Run Manager to own the operation from first departure to last arrival. You will ensure on-time performance, manage driver coverage and coordinate with our partner's operations team. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive pay based on experience.

This position requires 3+ years in motorcoach/transport operations, knowledge of FMCSA rules, and strong leadership. CDL is not required but preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in motorcoach, intercity bus, transit or transportation operations, including at least 1 year supervising drivers or dispatchers.
• Strong working knowledge of FMCSA/DOT rules, especially hours of service for passenger carriers.
• A track record of improving on-time performance, service quality or safety.
• Ability to manage a major client relationship with professionalism and clear communication.
• Experience with dispatch and scheduling software, GPS tracking, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own on-time performance management from first departure to last arrival.
• Build and manage the line run driver schedule with backups.
• Serve as the day-to-day contact for our partner's operations; report delays and incidents.
• Coach, ride-check and hold drivers accountable.
• Coordinate fleet readiness with maintenance to ensure road-readiness.
• Ensure FMCSA hours-of-service compliance and audit-ready logs.
• Lead incident response and passenger recovery after breakdowns.
• Track KPIs and drive improvements with leadership.
• Assist in launching new routes and schedule changes.
