Jabil is seeking a production lead to guide a crew of operators, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and optimal yield. This role supports the Manufacturing Supervisor and drives efficiency with minimal downtime on the production line.

The ideal candidate can motivate teams, monitor hourly status, and maintain effective communication between operators and management to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information effectively to groups of managers and stakeholders.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient with Windows OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with company software packages.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a group of production operators to meet quality, schedule, yield and productivity targets.
• Assist the Manufacturing Supervisor and drive operators for high machine utilization with minimal downtime.
• Highlight high fallout to the supervisor and ensure daily standards are met.
• Identify and develop operators to handle equipment efficiently and increase throughput.
• Guide operators in required skills and monitor hourly production status.
• Ensure CIQ system is implemented properly on the production line.
• Serve as communication link between operators and management.
• Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.
