Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a line of production operators, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and productivity targets are met. The role involves guiding operators, driving machine utilization, and maintaining clear communication with management.

You will assist the Manufacturing Supervisor, monitor hourly production, and ensure CIQ system compliance while maintaining safety and quality standards on the floor.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to managers, clients and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Operate a PC with Windows and related software.
• Advanced PC skills including familiarity with Jabil software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a group of production operators to meet quality, schedule, yield and productivity goals.
• Assist the Manufacturing Supervisor and drive operators for high machine utilization with minimal downtime.
• Identify high fallout and escalate to supervisor.
• Develop operators in handling equipment and improving throughput, quality and efficiency.
• Guide operators in required skills and monitor hourly production status.
• Ensure CIQ system usage on the production line and compliance with standards.
• Act as communication link between operators and management.
