Job summary

Jabil is seeking a frontline supervisor to lead a team of production operators in meeting quality, schedule, yield and productivity targets. You will assist the Manufacturing Supervisor, drive line efficiency with minimal downtime, and monitor hourly status while ensuring CIQ system compliance.

You will be a key communication link between operators and management, guiding skill development and maintaining standards through daily oversight and training as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a PC including Windows OS; familiarity with company software.
• Strong PC skills and knowledge of Jabil software packages.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to apply simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic material.
• Ability to perform basic math operations and interpret charts/graphs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate production operators to meet quality, schedule, yield and productivity goals.
• Assist Manufacturing Supervisor in line management and drive machine utilization with minimal downtime.
• Identify high fallout and alert supervisor when necessary.
• Achieve daily standards set by supervisor.
• Develop operators' skills and assign equipment appropriately to boost throughput and efficiency.
• Guide operators in required skills and maintain hourly production status.
• Monitor CIQ system and ensure production line compliance with standards.
• Serve as a communication link between operators and management.
