• Ability to present information to groups of managers, clients, and the public.

• Ability to operate a Windows PC and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and understand visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to manage standard situations with minimal variables.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a group of production operators to meet quality, schedule, yield, and productivity goals.
• Assist the Manufacturing Supervisor and drive operators to maximize machine utilization and minimize downtime.
• Highlight to the supervisor when there is high fallout.
• Achieve daily standards set by the supervisor.
• Identify and develop operators to handle equipment and improve throughput, quality, and efficiency.
• Guide operators in necessary skills and monitor hourly production status.
• Ensure CIQ system is implemented correctly on the line and standards are met.
• Serve as the communication link between operators and management.
