Job summary

Culinary Khancepts, a Houston-based multi-concept hospitality group, is seeking a Line / Prep Cook to join our culinary team. You will help deliver an elevated dining experience by preparing fresh ingredients, setting up stations, and executing dishes to high standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

Working alongside our chefs, you will maintain organization and cleanliness, follow safety guidelines, and support a positive, professional team dynamic while helping guests enjoy great food and

Qualifications

• Experience handling high-volume shifts.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Familiar with industry best practices.
• Certified in Food Safety.
• Multitasking aptitude.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report, and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
