Epicure Café in Houston's River Oaks district is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen. You will prep, cook, and plate dishes across stations, ensuring quality and timeliness while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

You will collaborate with a supportive team, follow elevated recipes, and uphold safety standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a welcoming, neighborhood setting.

Qualifications

• Handle high volume shifts efficiently and effectively.
• Aptitude for multi-tasking in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Follow executive or sous chef’s instructions.
• Clean up station and manage leftovers.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure food comes out high quality, timely, and matches orders.
• Comply with safety and sanitation regulations.
