Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead Supervisor for its Inspection Center. You will directly manage a team of hourly associates, oversee multi-stage production lines, and ensure safety, quality, and timely output.

The role includes coaching staff, enforcing stringent quality checks, and driving continuous improvement on the floor. You will coordinate cross-functional workflow, manage inventory flow, and support a high-volume environment with flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or lead experience within a high-volume manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
• Working knowledge of LEAN principles (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Kanban) with ability to identify waste and drive improvements.
• Experience overseeing mechanical assembly, inventory handling, and finishing stages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily operations across multi-stage production lines, ensuring safety, efficiency, and output targets.
• Lead, train, and mentor technicians and operators across workstations.
• Enforce quality standards for aesthetic, structural, and functional specs before release.
• Identify bottlenecks, optimize material staging, and streamline transitions between zones.
• Drive process improvements and standardization on the floor.
