Job summary

Jabil is seeking a production team leader to guide operators in achieving daily production goals with a focus on quality, schedule adherence, yield, and productivity. You will support the Manufacturing Supervisor, drive line utilization, and minimize downtime while ensuring adherence to procedures.

The role requires mentoring operators, monitoring production status, and maintaining CIQ compliance, acting as a bridge between operators and management to sustain safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and others.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient with Windows OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with Jabil software packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate operators on the production line to meet quality, schedule, yield, and productivity goals.
• Assist Manufacturing Supervisor and drive line utilization with minimal downtime.
• Identify high fallout and communicate with Supervisor for improvements.
• Develop operators in operating the right equipment and improve throughput and efficiency.
• Guide operators and monitor hourly production status and CIQ system compliance.
