Job summary

Astemo Americas, Inc. is seeking a Line Assist in Georgia to monitor production lines, ensure safety, document downtime, and support start/stop procedures. You will collaborate with operators and maintenance to resolve line issues and maintain quality output.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 3+ years of manufacturing experience, and proven leadership. Compliance with ISO14000/TS16949 and 5S standards is expected to maintain a clean, organized line and achieve daily production goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Three years manufacturing experience with preference in equipment setup, CNC machining, measurements, and calculations.
• Enough reading and writing ability to follow work orders and prepare simple production reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control over the production line to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
• Escalate issues to the Group Lead and document downtime and machine problems.
• Review start-up/shutdown procedures and support line problem resolution and continuous improvement.
