Job summary

Astemo Americas, Inc. in Georgia is hiring a Group Lead for the Steering Machining Department. You will maintain production line control, coordinate with engineering, maintenance and quality, and lead a team on the Friday–Sunday shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 3+ years in manufacturing, strong leadership, and the ability to read CMM reports, GD&T, and drawings, with a solid quality-control focus.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably with machining or high-speed equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret CMM reports, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with quality control, inspection tools, and geometric tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining control over the production line and coordinating with Mfg. Engineering, Maintenance and Quality.
• Perform troubleshooting on CNC machines and communicate findings to engineering and quality teams.
• Perform tool changes on CNC equipment including hobbing, grinding, milling and turning.
• Ensure daily production activities are communicated to Supervisors and assist on the line as needed.
• Maintain a safe, neat, clean, and organized production environment and support production goals.
