Job summary

Astemo Americas, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to lead a production line in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role requires ensuring safe, efficient operations and coaching operators to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating start-up/shutdown procedures, maintaining production records, and driving continuous improvement with 5S practices. A high school diploma and 3+ years of manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated leadership skills are required.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience; preference for equipment setup, CNC machining, measurements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production line control and safety during shift.
• Escalate problems to Group Lead and document downtime.
• Assist in start/stop procedures and line changes for product types.
• Ensure training is provided for new operators and that work instructions are followed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment; enforce 5S and PPE rules.
• Record process settings and inspect parts using gauges; communicate bottlenecks and resolutions.
