Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. in Georgia is seeking a manufacturing operator to support our production and quality goals within a warehouse environment.

You will audit process control documents, monitor equipment, and coordinate changeovers while ensuring safety and orderly work areas. Applicants should have a high school diploma, proven leadership, at least five years in manufacturing (preferably with high-speed equipment), and the ability to read work orders, perform basic math, and lift up to 25

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills required.
• Five (5) years manufacturing experience with preference in equipment assembly or high-speed equipment operation.
• Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
• Basic math skills.
• Sufficient Manual dexterity to operate machines properly.
• Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and visually inspect parts products.
• Physical ability to stand and walk frequently; lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Audit/verify process control documents for completion and accuracy.
• Enforce all organizational initiatives, including safety and quality policies.
• Coordinate training activities and audit effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot process issues to mitigate downtime.
• Ensure production areas are safe, neat, clean, and well organized.
• Coordinate changeover activities and audit for accuracy and accountability.
• Respect work hours and support production goals and timetables, including overtime.
• Ensure ISO14001 & TS16949 procedures and work instructions are followed.
• Complete production, scrap, and downtime reports accurately and on time.
• Check product dimensions via in-process inspection with indicators and gauges.
