Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. seeks a Line Assist to help maintain and optimize production lines in our Georgia facility. You will oversee line operations, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and support continuous improvement efforts.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, hands-on manufacturing experience with equipment setup, CNC machining, and solid math and reading skills. You will also train operators and document procedures to uphold standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills required.
• Three (3) years manufacturing experience with preference in equipment set up, CNC machining, measurements, and calculations.
• Enough reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
• Basic math skills.
• Enough manual dexterity to operate machines properly.
• Enough visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and visually inspect parts products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control over the production line at all times (Machine and Manpower).
• Escalate problems to Group Lead and ensure proper documentation and safe quality production.
• Update hour-by-hour boards and production logs during the shift.
• Assist maintenance with problem resolution and repairs as needed.
• Lead by example and ensure training of all operators.
