Job summary

Main Event is seeking a Line Cook to prepare delicious menu items while maintaining high food quality, safety, and sanitation standards. You will master our prep and spec recipes, operate kitchen equipment correctly, and partner with the service team to ensure every order is accurate and delivered promptly.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of Line Cook or Prep Cook experience, excellent teamwork, strong communication with management and guests, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• 6 months of Line Cook/Prep Cook experience.
• Guest-focused mindset and teamwork.
• Ability to communicate with management, team members and guests.
• 18+ years of age; Food Handlers Certification as required.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Working with the Service Team to ensure orders are accurate and delivered timely.
• Adhering to all food safety procedures.
• Properly and safely operating kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and stocked station before and after each shift.
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties.
